Project duration: Up to 24 months (extendable with approval)

SUPPORT RATE

Up to 100% of qualifying costs
Equity component allows EnterpriseSG to subscribe to shares worth 50% of grant amount (up to 49% of company)

REQUIREMENTS

Singapore-registered startup (≤10 years old)
At least 30% local equity held by Singaporean(s)/PR(s)
SME status (≤S$100M turnover or ≤200 employees)
Core R&D in Singapore
Main applicant must play a significant role
POC: Paid-up capital ≥10% of grant
POV: Paid-up capital ≥20% of grant

EXPECTED OUTCOME

Demonstrate technical viability (POC) or commercial merit (POV)
Milestones must be met for disbursement
Aim is to bring proprietary tech to market

Projects must fall under one of the following:

Advanced Manufacturing/Robotics
Biomedical Sciences and Healthcare
Clean Technology
ICT (e.g. AI, Cybersecurity)
New Industries (e.g. Blockchain, Quantum Tech)
Precision Engineering
Transport Engineering
Food Science and Technology
Agritech.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Grant disbursed in tranches: 20% upfront, rest upon milestone completion
Evaluation in 3 stages
Must not have started project before application
Can apply for both POC and POV, or switch after ROI form
Share subscription rights exercised during equity financing round
Qualitative outcomes accepted with measurable indicators
IP strategy encouraged but not mandatory
Foreign patents and overseas tech can qualify if value is created in Singapore
