  • Reductions from energy efficiency improvements, non-CO₂ GHG emissions reductions, or recovery of flare gases.

Qualifying Expenditure Details

  • Equipment; Materials
  • Consumables and Technical Software
  • Professional Services; Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
  • Other costs specifically to enable emissions reduction; specific consultancy costs incurred no more than 1 year prior to the QP start for baseline, opportunity identification, or proposal preparation.

SUPPORTED PROJECTS

  • Energy efficiency improvements delivering carbon abatement.
  • Reduction of emissions from non-CO₂ greenhouse gases (e.g., CH₄, N₂O, PFCs, SF₆, NF₃, certain HFC applications).
  • Recovery of flare gases.
  • Projects involving industrial motors.
  • Projects involving LED lighting or split-unit air-conditioners (streamlined M&V).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Company registered or incorporated in Singapore.
  • Owner or operator of an industrial facility located in Singapore.
  • Undertakes manufacturing or data centre activities in Singapore.
  • Project undertaken at such a facility in Singapore.
  • Project projected to achieve at least 250 tCO₂e per annum in measurable, verifiable carbon abatement.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Scheme open till end-FY2030; applications must receive Final Approval by 31/03/2031.
  • One-time disbursement upon project completion and verification of award conditions.
  • An M&V plan is required and must be endorsed by an independent Qualified Endorser (PE, EEO Assessor, or other EDB-approved competency).
