Key Features:The BETC grant aims to drive the next phase of transformation in the BE sector by encouraging firms to transform and achieve outcomes aligned with the BE Industry Transformation Map (ITM), introducing support to more ITM areas, and emphasizing longer-term capability building to advance transformation.

  • Grant Provider: Building and Construction Authority (BCA)
  • Max Amount: S$ 100 million over five years
  • Project Duration: Up to 5 years

Support Rate

  • Up to 70% of qualifying costs for SMEs
  • Up to 50% for non-SMEs in the first two year

Tapering to up to 50% for SMEs and up to 30% for non-SMEs in the subsequent three years.

Requirements

Open to all BE firms including developers, main builders, subcontractors, consultants, prefabricators, and suppliers. Eligible firms must be registered and operating in Singapore, related to the BE sector, and financially capable to start and complete the proposed initiatives.

Expected Outcome

Achieving productivity improvement, increase in skilled workers, increase in local employees with higher wages, and/or increase in upskilled PMETs.

Supported Projects

Developing new enterprise capabilities, increasing adoption of advanced technologies, and building manpower capabilities strategically.

The BETC grant replaced the existing Productivity Innovation Project (PIP) grant which ended on 31 March 2025.
